WHAT IS OUTLAST SCHOOL?

The Outlast School is a leadership academy for African girls aged 15–18.

It’s a 3-year, virtual-first journey rooted in identity, income, and impact — designed to raise authors, builders, and future decision-makers across the continent.

OUR VISION

We’re not raising girls to escape.

We’re raising girls who will outlast

and rebuild — every system that tried

to silence them.

OUR VISION

We’re not raising girls to escape.

We’re raising girls who will outlast

and rebuild — every system that tried

to silence them.

This isn’t about charity. This is about capacity.

About raising a generation of girls who aren’t just seen — but equipped.

Not just empowered — but employed. Not just hopeful — but historic.

WHY WE EXIST

For too long, the system has misjudged our girls.

They were called “too quiet,” “too loud,” “too behind,” “too much.”

We call them founders, authors, speakers, builders, and leaders.

Outlast is for the girl with a story to tell, a skill to learn, and a future to create — right where she stands.

“If it weren’t for my father who refused to accept that I was ‘behind’ after failing sixth grade, I may never have seen my own potential. The Outlast School is for every girl who just needed one person to believe in her — until she could believe in herself.”

Sandra Kemayou, Founder

WHAT WE DO

Outlast is a 3-year journey of identity, skill-building, and leadership.

  • Year 1 — Becoming: Each girl becomes a published author, sharing her story and learning how to sell ideas with confidence.

  • Year 2 — Building: Girls choose a marketable digital skill (like video editing or coding) and earn real income through client projects.

  • Year 3 — Leading: Girls launch a capstone project, serve as mentors, and graduate with a portfolio, experience, and power.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe:

  • Identity is a form of power

  • Girls are not projects — they are partners in legacy

  • Healing and high income can go hand in hand

  • You don’t need to leave your continent to live a life of meaning and wealth

  • We don’t need more saviors. We need systems that outlast.

WHERE WE'RE HEADED

By 2035, The Outlast School will have:

  • Trained 1,000+ girls across Africa

  • Licensed our curriculum to 10+ school systems

  • Launched 200+ student-authored books

  • Created a continent-wide alumni network of mentors, funders, and innovators

Outlast is not about getting ahead.

It’s about building what will remain.

WHAT MAKES OUTLAST DIFFERENT

  • We teach girls to earn — not just learn

  • We root success in cultural pride

  • We fuse storytelling, healing, and skills

  • We build income, not dependency

  • We train girls to Outlast anything — and change everything
